Private percussion lessons are $160 per month. Families receive personalized one-on-one instruction shaped around each student’s interests and goals. Financial assistance is available so more young musicians can access meaningful music education.

Instruments Students Can Learn On
Students learn hands-on with a wide range of quality percussion instruments, including instruments they may not have access to at home. Our studio now includes a complete set of four Ludwig timpani.
Concert Snare Drum
A professional Black Swamp maple concert snare drum, along with practice pads for warm-ups and focused technique work, for preparing concert, solo, audition, and All-State repertoire.
Marimba & Keyboard Percussion
A 4.3-octave Adams marimba for mallet instruction, including the technique and repertoire of marimba, xylophone, and vibraphone, with students learning directly at the instrument.
Drum Set
A fully equipped Yamaha drum set featuring four toms, double bass pedals, two crash cymbals, ride, hi-hat, splash, and cowbell for developing a wide range of styles and techniques.
Timpani
A complete set of four Ludwig timpani gives students hands-on access to professional-sized instruments for orchestral repertoire, technique, All-State preparation, auditions, and solo repertoire.
Marching Percussion
A marching snare drum and tenor practice pad for hands-on instruction, with coaching also available for marching bass drum, cymbals, and front ensemble.
Auxiliary & World Percussion
An ever-growing collection of auxiliary percussion, along with cajón, handpan, traditional Brazilian pagode instruments, and other world percussion.
